The palliative care training programme offered at the Careum Institute fulfils the requirements laid down by the Canton of Zurich’s healthcare authorities for hospitals with accident and emergency facilities. Hospitals may apply to have the cost of the foundation and advanced courses reimbursed.
The third-level courses are aimed at doctors, nurses and other professionals in the healthcare sector. ECTS credits are awarded upon successful completion of the courses and can be added to those accumulated with other courses (Master of Advanced Studies (MAS), Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) or Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)).
