Committed to healthcare

Since its establishment in 1882, the Careum Foundation has been committed to the healthcare professions. This commitment also extends to the use of the Foundation’s own premises, situated between the three streets Gloriastrasse, Pestalozzistrasse and Moussonstrasse. In accordance with the law, part of the premises must be used as living space; the Foundation puts the income it earns from the rental of this space in the new premises towards the running costs of its charity work.

Apartments & Classrooms – Living & Working
Where two worlds meet
The Careum Foundation rents out seminar rooms and spacious, modern apartments (3 ½, 4 ½ and 6 ½ rooms) at current market terms in the centrally located university district of Zurich.

Tenants
A healthy mix of tenants ensures stable, neighbourly relations. It is, of course, not necessary to be in the medical profession in order to rent one of our apartments. We therefore do not require the fulfilment of any such personal criteria. Having said that, we do know just how tempting our apartments make it to want to live and work in the district!

Location
Pestalozzistrasse 3/5/7/9 and Moussonstrasse 2/4
Living in between the Züriberg and the city has always been something quite special. Our apartment buildings on Pestalozzistrasse and Moussonstrasse bring back that ‘je ne sais quoi’ to the area.

The Careum premises is situated directly between the lush green villa district and the university and hospital district.

Small stores in the immediate vicinity are good for the essentials.

Getting Around
Just a hop, skip and a jump away!

Nothing is ever very far away in our small city – and this is particularly the case here at Pestalozzistrasse and Moussonstrasse. The central train station, the old town (Niederdorf) and the river (Limmat) are all just a few minutes away on foot. The tram lines 5 and 6 stop practically outside the front door, and tram number 9 stops just down the road at ‘Universitätsspital’ and ‘Kantonsschule’.
